Regulations on signs of September 22, 1943. Badges for distinguished railway workers - metal, have an elliptical shape, depicting an oxidized locomotive wheel standing on the rail. At the top is a fluttering flag, covered with ruby-red enamel, with gilded edges and the inscription in gold letters: "Excellent". The size of the signs: height - 40 mm, width - 28 mm. Gilded Christmas trees are depicted on the edges of the signs. At the bottom of the oxidized, red-enameled section of rail is placed one of the following inscriptions in gilded letters: "locomotive driver", "mover", "trackman", "signalman", "wagon driver", "builder", "restorer", "administrative employee". At the bottom of the wheel, on the spokes, a gilded emblem is superimposed: a French key and a hammer. Hub above the emblem, the appropriate industry sector of railway transport: for the locomotive of the economy - oxidized engine; production: motion, cargo - blue lights, path and passenger arrows; for the economy of the path - blue axle; for agriculture communication - in blue square two intertwined arrows-zipper covered with ruby-red enamel; for carriage facilities - oxidized car; for builders - blue axle; for restorative organizations blue bridge and rail with gilded technical familiar; for administrative staff - plated crossover hammer, sickle and French key, with embedded ruby in the middle of the red star.
