The original quilted jacket is in very good collectible condition. Size 46-48. Slightly wiped collar and sleeves, traces of socks. The stamps are worn out or missing. Quilted jackets of this type were made for captured Germans, they were distinguished from army ones by the presence of 5 buttons and patch pockets located slightly higher than the pockets of Soviet army jackets of the 1941 model. The main difference was the black color – it allowed you to immediately determine that you were a prisoner of war. Quilted jackets of this type are widely represented in photographs of Germans returning home in the late 1940s - early 1950s, and are in the collections of several German and Norwegian museums. A rare sample of a prisoner of war uniform, a guarantee of authenticity.
