The ceremonial uniform of Major VOSO of the 1943 model

An original and extremely rare uniform of a major of the military communications service of the Soviet Army in excellent collector's condition. This type of uniform was introduced by order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 25 dated January 15, 1943. The uniform is single-breasted, with a cut-off bodice, fastened with five large buttons on the left side. The collar is stiff, standing, fastened with two or three hooks and loops. The upper edge and ends of the collar are edged. Buttonholes with metal straps are sewn on the collar of the uniform, at an equal distance from its upper and lower edges. The sleeves of the uniform are double-stitched, with straight side cuffs, edged at the upper edge and ends. There are two metal buttonholes (columns) on the cuffs of the sleeves, respectively, according to the established shape, which indicates the tailoring of the uniform after 1947. Leaves are sewn on the tail of the back, at the ends of which one large button is sewn. Blue edging along the edge of the left side, collar, leaflet and cuffs. All buttons are shaped, brass. A cloth diamond is sewn on the sleeve, on which the gilded logo of the VOSO is mounted. Size 46-48. Guarantee of authenticity. The belt and cap shown in the photo are not included.
