Description

Poster from the series of the exploits of Soviet soldiers during the great Patriotic war. Artist D. N. Demonic. The plot of this poster is associated with the feat of Nikolai Barinov. Poster A3, the reverse net. The state of preservation is good.


History

Nikolay Barinov (11 [24] March, 1914, p. Naumova, Nizhny Novgorod province — February 25, 1983, Bor, Nizhny Novgorod oblast) — hero of the Soviet Union. Nikolay Barinov was born 11 (24) March, 1914 in the village Naumovo (now — Buturlino district, Nizhny Novgorod region) in the family of a poor peasant. In 1931 he graduated from the five classes of Junior high school. From 1932 to 1934 he studied at the St. Petersburg timber College. After the second course was aimed at Chevakinsky district of the Chuvash ASSR, where for two years he worked as the Chairman lesopromyslovye farm. In 1936 he was drafted into the red army, held military service in the infantry division in the far East. In the summer of 1938, the assistant commander of a rifle platoon, 95th infantry regiment, Junior commander Nikolai Barinov participated in battles against the Japanese troops at lake Khasan.


He distinguished himself in a night attack on 6 August 1938, which destroyed several enemy soldiers. Several times went to storm the Nameless hills and Zaozernoye. Joined in the melee, which stabbed with a bayonet of two Japanese soldiers and saved the lives Comaniciu red army, was wounded, but the battlefield is not left behind. In the attack on August 10, 1938 one of the first to reach the Japanese positions.


Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 25 October 1938 Barinov Nikolay Mikhailovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. In 1938 Barinov was sent to school at the Stalingrad military aviation school, from which he graduated in 1941 and was retained as an instructor pilot. In 1939 he joined the CPSU(b). In 1945 N. M. Barinov graduated from the higher officer school and served as commander of the assault squadron attack aviation regiment 672. In August 1946, for health reasons was transferred to the reserve, lived in Gorky. Worked at Borsky glass factory. Pensioner Union values. Died 25 Feb 1983.
