Decorated capsule pistol made by the Russian master S. Kudasenov

A very rare and interesting pistol in good collector's condition. An expert opinion of the GIM will be issued for the gun. The barrel is steel, forged, faceted, damask; the barrel channel is smooth. The inscription is inlaid on the upper face of the trunk "KUDASENOV", on the side face — the Tula receiving brand. The sighting device consists of a round front sight and a rear sight in the form of a triangular slot located on the shank. The pistol is equipped with a capsule lock with a flat trigger, engraved with a vegetable stalk. All the details of the lock are mounted on the key board. The key board is decorated with an engraved floral ornament. Trigger guard with a spur made in the form of a cast dolphin figurine. The bed is wooden, with a forearm up to the middle of the trunk length. A metal ramrod with a brass tip is fixed in the forearm. The back cover is oval in shape with a metal overlay. The handle is decorated with a diamond-shaped mesh with inlaid metal dots. The name stamp on the barrel allows you to attribute the capsule pistol presented for examination as the work of master Sergey Stepanovich Kudasenov. He belonged to the bourgeois class, worked in Tula. In the sources, information about him dates back to 1850. He had in Tula a "factory" on the rights of a philistine for the production of hunting rifles and pistols.

On the upper face of the trunk is the inscription "KUDASENOV"; on the side face is the Tula receiving brand.

Visual inspection of the pistol indicates that the pistol bed was subjected to restoration; the original polishing was lost. There is pitting corrosion on the entire surface of the barrel and on the ramrod.
