In 1912 instead of the shoulder harness of a sample of 1881, the construction of which has caused a lot of complaints, officers of the guard infantry to wear combat edged weapons – checkers sample 1881/1909 he was rated a waist belt of a cavalry type. The same belt was previously used in the guards and army cavalry, to wear swords and sabers. They are the same belt sample 1912 inherited such features of design as the front closure in the form of a snake and adjustable length with a buckle on the right side. The peculiarity of this specimen are movable holder pasovih belts in the form of a special framework of buckles and also bazovye straps with buckles oval. There were two varieties of harness sample 1912: parade, or drill, and the so-called Vic-belt. All belts front belt, both lap and perovye, made of thin brown leather, and trimmed with lace special pattern (so-called sword) by the color of the metal device. The metal parts are covered with gilding or silvering. Vits-belt different from the front only by the fact that the waist belt is trimmed with a lace – trim, there were only pasovih straps.
