Description

Cabinet-portrait. All the recruits of conscription the same year, had not managed in time of peace to serve in the army. Before you go with a company marching to the front, they learn the basics of military science in the reserve infantry battalion. All three are dressed in new Hiking clothing is fully authorised casual (cloth of his shirt. 1912, cloth trousers, cap and hat mod. 1910, infantry boots and waist straps with buckles) from emergency reserves. That picture was taken after the start of world war I, saying vechernina leather waist belt (in August 1914, lap belts are allowed to issue to the troops and to wear without blackening of the skin "under the wax" which was necessary in peacetime). This fully authorized uniforms without a single arbitrary parts allow you to include a photo of the initial period of world war. A unique feature of the picture is the combination of the share of marching uniforms with epaulets protective cloth, not fastened, and tightly sewn to the shirts around the perimeter. Previously it was thought that this method of carrying was practiced no earlier than 1917, but photos like this one that contradict this version – they clearly indicate that to sew the shoulder straps could have in the initial period of the war, when more was not spent inventory of uniforms and equipment (in particular, belts with buckles). Any regulations governing the wearing of epaulettes sewn lower ranks of the army, not yet discovered. These photos, on which statutory Hiking shape combined with sewn straps, known in single copies and almost no sales occur.
