Very interesting and rare shoulder straps in excellent condition. In 1912, some army regiments that distinguished themselves during the Patriotic War of 1812 were awarded new patronages and corresponding insignia. On September 10, 1912, the 48th Infantry Regiment of Odessa was granted the patronage of Emperor Alexander I and the corresponding monogram on the shoulder straps, a gilded bill of lading for officers and stenciled in yellow paint for lower ranks. In addition, the monogram of Alexander I was available only in the 7th Hussar Belarusian regiment, but there it was silver-plated. The rank of ensign existed in combat units only during wartime, which allows you to date shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are completely in the original assembly, this is clearly visible in the darker part of the blue lumen located under the monogram – the lumen located below and above has faded somewhat more. Also an interesting feature of shoulder straps is a rare type of pre-revolutionary braid. Guarantee of authenticity.
