Description

The original business card of the captain of one of the ships of the Siberian military Flotilla is in good collector's condition. "Shilka" is a former English—built cargo steamer "Erica". It was purchased by the Maritime Department and joined the Siberian Flotilla on 12.02.1905 as the Shilka transport. Displacement of 3,500 tons. Crew — 269 people . Armament: 4 x 76 mm/50, 2 machine guns. Since 1912, work has been underway to convert it into a minelayer, but due to delays in financing, they were limited to installing devices for laying mines from the upper deck. In December 1918 he was sent to Odessa, where he was captured by the Wrangelists. In November 1920 , during the evacuation of the Crimea , they took him from Feodosia to Constantinople. Guarantee of authenticity.

In August 1922, he became the captain of the Erivan Volunteer Fleet steamer in Shanghai. His senior assistant was another later famous fishing captain — E. D. Immortal. On June 4, 1937, Kamchatka became aware of the awarding of prizes to the People's Commissariat of the Food Industry of the USSR "For overfulfilling Putin's plans of 1937" Among the workers of the AKO awarded with this award was the captain of the Orochon, G. I. Alexandrov.

On July 10, 1938, the Orochon completed another voyage through western Kamchatka and returned to Petropavlovsk. On July 27, he arrived in Vladivostok, where he stayed until August 3. Here Alexandrov left the ship. On August 10, E. D. Bessmertny was appointed captain of the Orochon. According to the information reported by Captain P. M. Ivanov, G. I.
